the stool is a dark brown and it is all water. i have had food poisening before and this doesn't feel like that. my stomach was never terribly upset. last night i had a sandwich for dinner with chips and pretty much i have been eating sandwiches every day and maybe yogurt for breakfast. i was wondering if my body was having an adverse reaction to the anti-inflammatories that i take. i have never had a reaction like this before. also i take vitamins. i am in saudi arabia right now but live in the US. i travel abroad all of the time but have never had an instance like this. i am 36 and in pretty good health because i am a professional athlete by trade.

Easy cheesy.

You need to see a doctor. Chances are that a bacteria, your body is unfamiluar with, has been ingested. This is common when in foreign lands.

Watery stool or diarrhoea that lasts more then 3-4 days you should consult a physician !!!

Also here is a chart to help you describe symptoms.

If you cannot get to a doctor, try a muddy drink of coffee grounds and lemon juice, you can add lots of sugar to help get it down. This will normally quiet the stomach and digestive track down. Learned this in Turkey from the locals.

If you are in a foreign country, that tells a lot: poor sanitation and compromised hygeine, different foods and climate, can all add up to problems in the excretory system. You need to be checked and have your electrolytes replaced because that is where you are losing them. This can lead to further problems with a compromised immune system. Go and get checked. It may be a matter of just taking Imodium, or you may have picked up a more serious tropical problem. Go, like now, and see a doctor.

Watery stool is usually a form of diarrhea. It may also be related to loose stool (also within the spectrum of diarrhea). Many conditions causing watery stool will be listed under diarrhea.

More details about diarrhea are available in the discussion of diarrhea as a disease

Something is not agreeing with you and your digestive tract.

I would bet it is in the food you are eating and not the anti-inflammatories. It could be in the mayo on the sandwhich or the meat on the sandwhich or the chips?? Who knows.

BUT (no pun intended), you should definitely change your diet and see if this helps.

And see a doctor, they will want a sample (and not of the sandwhich either).

Your diet seems to be lacking fibre. Your stool will never be firm (which usually indicates a healthy bowel) if your diet is not covering the five main food groups.
