Yeah I kinda don't like pleasant dreams so much because they really bring me down in the morning. Sometimes I think about them all day. I like more action packed dreams in which I get killed then I wake up with energy and very happy.

trying to understand a dream is like trying to catch a rainbow.
dreams are not the conscience of our souls but a gift of free movies from your brain, like them or not,
when you say you have feelings for a person , that isn't wrong.
if we look at feelings we had for another person we should consider them as in the bank, just accumulating dust and some interest, but all the time just the past. what a wonderful thing love is or what we thought it was. as we get older we wished we could be back there with the other person (sometimes). but if we consider all the aspects of the bad things that were included in that relationship we would never go back. it was once said by a very smart person. love is like a bird, if you set it free it will fly back to you, if not , it was never meant to be.
I would suggest you get some help not from a friend but a professional councillor.
my best dream was of my Brother who had past away suddenly.
We had never got to say goodbye but in my dream i did say goodbye and had a good cry.
cherish your dreams they are what our lives are all about.

It is very common for people to dream about ex-partners. Individuals that have been an important part of our lives continue to take up a part of our mind and heart. It is impossible to very dramatically shut the person out of thoughts and feelings. Just because the relationship ends does not mean that all is finished. As we go through relationships we learn and at times pick up "battle wounds." You will continue to dream about your ex until you "let go" of him on a very important level, or until you learned your lessons from that relationship. Either way, dreaming about your ex-romance does not predict future involvement. It may be wish-fulfillment, reliving memories, or working out old issues.

We are all emotional beings with a soul
as we go in life we make bonds and connect with others, this is what i call a 'soul tie' (like a string if you will)
Some soul ties are good, and others are bad, some are strong like rope (deep relationship/friendship) others are weak (work mate, or acquaintance)
Here it shows that you have a 'still connected' bond with this past relationship that you have not fully released and let go
This soul connection is still tugging on your conscience, and is rearing its head to you through dreams where you are unable to suppress them as you would during a normal day.
This soul tie may feel good, theese memories may seem nice, but they could be subtly effecting you and your current relationship.
They need to be broken, the strings need to be cut from this past relationship, you need to be free to live your current life without hinderence.
Ther are different methods to do this, but the most effective and powerfull and painfree is through faith in Jesus Christ,
For he came to heal the hurt, to find what was lost, and to set the captive free
And to "untie the chords of the yoke'
and set your heart free.
Bless you

Feelings often come with dreams.
Usually when the dream is over, the feelings also go away.
However I have had dreams that made me melancholy and when the dream was over I still felt melancholy.
Stay faithful to the one you are married to, and ignore the best you can the dreams of other men.

I've had the same happen to me. I am still friends with most of my exes and I do dream - sometimes vividly - of them. I dont feel bad because it was a wonderful thing we had and are still friends.

Dreams occur in a level of consciousness that is almost exactly the same as waking consciousness. Everything you can feel in reality you feel in dreams.
