Both trials are unfair because Jesus is the innocent one and not Barabbas. Barabbas was freed and Jesus was executed.

He was found guilty of being drunk and disorderly in the first trial, and driving without current insurance and road tax on the second trial.................... Oh sorry that was another Jesus

The first trial, Pilate could not find evidence that Jesus had broken any laws, but because He was from Galilee, he send Him there to be judged.
He was sent back to Pilate, and Pilate still could not find anything to punish Him for, so He told the Jews to do with Him whatever they wanted, but he washed his hands of whatever they would do.

The Jews did not have the authority to kill anyone, but since Pilate had told them to do as they wished, they put Jesus to death.

He asserted Himself and held fast to truth rather than giving in and saying what they wanted Him to in order to save Himself.

he got stitched right up ,the jury was nobbled and all his mates didnt come forewards as character witnesses cos they were all on the piss with judas,doing all the dough he got off the romans for grassing him up.thats why he was stuck in that bleedin cave for so long,they all had massive hangovers.still .he wernt bothered cos he went and forgave them all anyway.
