This isn't a question, it's an inflammatory thinly-veiled attempt to poke fun at people who still cling to the theory of evolution. You're not winning any brownie points on either side for this.

Wait, if you don't believe in evolution, how can you believe that Neanderthals even existed?
And geesh, if you studied the stuff right, humans didn't evolve from Neanderthals. They were relatives, a cousin.
But let me take that last comment as saying that Evolutionists brains are like the Neanderthals, which meanst that they are stupid.
So what are you? I really don't think that you are a stupid person. Your just putting shame to the human race in general, Christians, Creationists, and Evolutionists alike.
I wonder if you understand what is meant by Evolving. it doesn't happen in the middle of a humans life span, it comes from the beginning, when the DNA is being replicated, and a "mistake" happens and succeeds in being introduced into the majority of the human genome. It may appear in the time of developement of a human being from infancy to adulthood, when the DNA is being used as an instruction manual, or even "evolve" at that time, but it usually appears as cancers and whatnot.
And no, to honestly answer your question, they aren't contradicting themselves, evolution doesn't mean always to the better.

Modern human brains are different from those of the Neanderthals. We have a larger frontal cortex. There are other anatomical differences (such as in the construction of the shoulder) that made humans much more graceful than Neanderthals. And we may have been better at resisting disease (something killed them off). We were certainly better at making clothing, and much more inventive.
The same people who howl about Evolution being "just" a theory are very willing to accept the theory of relativity, because this gave us nuclear weapons. They are also very willing to accept the germ theory, despite the fact that germs mutate (that would be evolve) all the time. Gravity is a theory too - that doesn't mean it isn't real.

>Can someone believe in a higher power and still believe in evolution without contradicting themselves? Of course. >Just curious. I believe that evolution makes alot of sense, but I still some what believe in an "intelligent designer". Believing in evolution and in an intelligent designer together is entirely valid, to the extent that it is supported by evidence; that is to say it contains no inherent contradiction. On the other hand, believing in two different sources for the origin of modern species of organisms is contradictory and therefore invalid regardless of empirical evidence.

The DNA sequence in every cell in your body is breaking and repairing constantly. Allele frequencies in the population change every time an individual is born or died. You theists have no patience - want everything to happen in one go. Creation: POOF! There it is. Every species created as now POOF! no problem. Trouble is, your own body is contributing to evolution with the asontishing patience that has characterized it throughout the history of the universe, that contribution could be measured by mapping your genome just as other human genomes have been mapped, and there is very little you could say to dispute it.
I've no doubt everyone who disagrees with evolution does not need the relevance of allele frequencies explained to them - it is inconceivable that you would argue against evolution without a good background knowledge...

more to the point why is YOURS still at the neanderthal stage. this argument is proving to me only that you are a fundie imbecile. your 'question' shows you don't really even know what the theory of evolution is, or even the meaning of the word theory in a scientific context.

Yep.
The religion of Evolution is making science God.
These cultist are egoist and worshiping self.
Their belief takes considerable faith, exponentially more faith than believing in the creator God.

Ad hominem is for losers. Evolution is an indisputable fact that you need to deal with - it isn't going away regardless of how much mindless rhetoric the creationists employ.

A creationist mentioning contradiction, thats rich. Check your bible against some of the many versions of it that men have written, there you will find contradiction.
