I have a friend who, i've gone out with who really bothers me by telling mentioning this other guy. I knew that the other guy has been her friend before we met, in fact i've known the guy before the first time i saw her (it was a gathering), because he was there as well. It's been a while since we've been out, she was sick with chicken pox or something, and she didnt let me visit because she had dots on her face but she let the other guy visit a few times! (I know because she msged me about everything when she was sick). Since she got better, i invited her out again tomorrow, she hasnt mentioned that guy at all, until just today at 7, she msged me saying she had dinner with him. She doesnt mention any other guys, it's just him. It just plain bothers me, i try to hide it but i'm pretty sure she knows... I'm not sure how she feels, i know i want to go further with this, but what's with mentioning this guy?

She has seen me going to a party with another girl before, and got upset that i didnt give her attention, then that was about when she started mentioning this guy in her messages.

"would you like 2...", did your wife run away with your neighbour while you were at work? Getting drunk doesnt solve a thing. Her sex life is her's, prefer to not know until after marriage. Right now i just want to know how she feels so i dont have to keep on guessing

the difference is, she doesnt keep going on about him, she only mentions him once whenever she sees him. If she kept on going on and on about him, i would've stopped talking to her long ago

Maybe she is trying to tell you she is interested in this other guy so you wont ask her out and get your feelings hurt.

The girl is in love with the other guy. You are her back up. She knows you like her and will give her attention.
One guy that was asking me on dates, kept talking about his "friend", who is a girl. He thought we should be all be friends. Two years later he was dating her and is now married to her.
This girls body language is loud and clear. She might not even know that she is so into the guy. Don't set yourself as the back-up boyfriend. There will be a lot of head games if you stay in this relationship

I have been in this exact same dilemma, mate-and through my own experience, it is just who she is-a female! She seems a little insecure, and that may account for not wanting her beloved (that's you) to see her without full make-up and fancy dress ensemble! As for mentioning other fella? That is just her, and you should tell her it upsets you leaving no room for doubt-if she gets jealous over your ex, then she HAS to understand how you feel about hers-it is only natural, and if you both care for one another enough, it;ll work out!
It may be upsetting you more than you realise, and then it may be as much about you as it is her, so try to remember things like this-she texted you all the time she was sick-she didn't neglect you, and she gets just as miffed as you do about ex-"friends"! Just show her you care, mate!

i think she didn't let you visit her when she was sick with chicken pox cos she was worried you'd think she looked ugly. which means she really cares about you. i mean, if i had dots all over my face, i wouldn't want my boyfriend to see it, but i wouldn't care if my friends saw. so, im guessing she only takes that other guy as a friend and because she thinks you don't pay enough attention to her, she's trying to make you jealous. so maybe you should talk to her about it and tell her you dont like it when she gets too close with other guys. so she'll know that you really care about her.

she's jsut mentioning this other guy because she wants you to feel like she has options so you will love her more. shez probably doing this because shez unsure if u reli like her and feels insecure. you see she only started mentioning the guy after u went to the arty with another girl. all she wants is reassuarance that u care bout her n that i wanna be with her. n bout the guy dont worry she doesnt like him, she just wants it to seem like she does tell her u dont like her mentioning him n just pay more attention to her n she will stop. hopefully. well good luck
