Are nuns allowed to masturbate? I don't mean to offend anyone it's just i watched an episode of sex and the city where samantha asks a nun the same question and she says 'i never asked' so i wondered if that meant she never asked and she does or she never asked and she doesn't.

The TV nun's response was MEANT to be ambiguous; that is the source of the "humor". But the answer for Catholc nuns is no, because their calling is based on certain ideals. "Worldly" concerns such as sex, power and money are rejected in favor of the quest for a spiritual existence.
I don't know what the requirements are for nuns of other relgions. Other Christians have nuns, as well as Buddhists, possibly others...

Leave all religious teachings.
As I understand the most sacred feelings in human body is sex. If anyone tries to overcome that, it is a violation of the rule of Creator. The purpose of sex is procreation as well as entertainment. If procreation was the only purpose women should not have sexual pleasures when they are not fertile.
The natural way to meet the sexual needs of the body is to mate with your opposite sex. So the male and female is created and nature itself teaches us through other creations of the same Creator.
When a man or woman is not in a position to live with his/her mate, then the natural way is to ease the sexual tension by other means that your body allows. The most secure and right way is to masturbate.
If anyone tries to live a life away from these basic characters of human body, they are just violators. Remember, your Creator is not a fool to create you the way you are.

No they're not. Because one of their vows s chasity. And since any sexual conduct outside marriage is not allowed (even mastrubation), then they can't do it. Nuns, are very amazing people in my opinion. All they need to fill their lives is teh love of chrsit.

In history there were graveyards of newly born babies in the basements of churches.
Newly born killed after birth, babies of priests and Nuns.
It is unnatural not to marry, that's why such cases appear in response to something unnatural.

Oh you know they do it. Whether they think it's right or wrong. They have to. They may be nuns but their sexual beings as well. You'll never convince me that they don't do it. I think that quite a few even have sex.

That's a good question. I suppose what they get up to in their rooms is up to them right. Course I reckon they'd have to keep their moans of pleasure down in case the Mother Superior came to check on them.
Unless she was walking past and heard the moans and thought that God had come to pay a visit to one of his wives.

what crappy television programmes you watch you might try to watch some informative programmes then you might come up with some intelligent questions. Devoting yourself to god means as well as all the obviousl things exercising self control and confronting your sins. no they do not
