I want to ask about "i" which is used in some mobile phone models like Nokia 1110i. What does this "i" means?

the i stand for international...

clicking on the link and looking for the chart explains some of the differences albeit minor between these two phones. similar differences would exist between the 1110 and 1110i.

I believe that it distinguishes the phone from other regions. For example the Nokia 1110i is the European model while Nokia 1110 might be the US version.
