Congratualations! And 110 yards ain't nothing to snort at. Just think, you hit a ball more than 330 feet and put it in a hole about 5 inches in diameter.
And I would think no more than 1 or 2 percent can do that. I've been playing 40 years and have come an inch or so a couple of times but never got one. Maybe next week...

The percentage of golfers who get a hole in one on a par three is 1.5% I belive...not 100% sure, you may want to email the PGA through there website. 3 weeks ago on a par three I was about 1 foot away from the pin the ball landed solid on a hill and the hill led straight into the hole, I finished up by tapping the ball down the small hill and got a birdie, my first birdie ever w00t! I have been golfing for around 11 years that's about all my life... Anyways as I said try emailing the PGA that question you may find a more direct response from them.

I read somewhere that the odds for the average golfer to hit a hole in one on a par 3 hole are 10,000 : 1

I did in the early spring of 1991.
It was the wrong hole............ We were following red flags through the first 6-7 holes, so I shot at the red flag on the next hole - hole in one, my buddy bounced his shot off the pin, the next two guys made horrible shots into the next fairway.
Then as we followed the map, we found out the guys we thought had bad shots were actually on the correct fairway and my buddy & I basically protested the rest of the round and drank the rest of the day since the greatest shots of our lives were at the wrong hole.

Has to be less than 5%. I've played golf for over 30 years and don't have one. I've been within inches a few times, but nothing in the hole yet.

I think it would be around 3% a lot of golfers have several. They seem to come in bunches.
