Events that have happened to me in the past, which is why we need to try to learn to come to terms with our past experiences and move on.

Being human some of us have not learned how to follow the commandments of our Lord. Over time, we allow Satan to come into our lives with animosity, jealousy, greed. We have consumed the forbidden fruit of lust and selfishness. We may have suffered abuse from those that are suppose to love us, therefore, our only escape may be to hate to the point that we cannot find a logical escape. A positive escape cannot be had with hatred in your heart. Things are sometimes emotionally difficult. We try to find answers but because of our own pettiness we only allow that Hate to build up in us. We have to let it go. It's not worth the risk of loosing our closeness to God. Pray and pray hard for the strength to overcome hatred. You will be surprised to find that you are bigger than the problem of Hate. Go for it and God bless you all the way.

Hate evil.
Psa 97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked.
Pro 6:16 These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him:
Pro 6:17 A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,
Pro 6:18 An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,
Pro 6:19 A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren.

When someone really hurt me I chose to 'hate' that person. Simply because being hurt made me feel weak, and hating that person made me feel strong again.
But later I realised that hating is only a waste of time.

I generally let God do the hating. I've felt frustration, disappointment, angst and other negative emotions, but I can't say I've ever truly hated someone.

I don't hate and find myself incapable of hate. I dislike intensely but, not hate some people.

I don't hate anyone. I hate sin, and evil, because they destroy.
