Yahoo should ban this type of question. God knows, people have been violated for less. When I joined Yahoo Qs&As, I made a promise never to report anyone. I am sorely tempted, but I am sure there are others out there who will be highly offended by this question, and will take action.

You could sell half of it, did you know that the liver is the only part of the human body that can acually regenerate it's self? So if you sold half, over time the half you kept would grow back to it's original size.
Having said that, isn't selling body parts illegal?

Sometimes stupid questions can be funny then sometimes we get stupid questions like this one! If you had been a member for any length of time you would appreciate that many questions are asked in this section from people who are affected by liver cancer. This is a very serious, very often fatal, disease and so is not a subject for stupidity.

It is illegal in the UK to sell or advertise for sale human organs. The penalty is three years in prison or a fine, or both. Check the HTA (Human Tissue Authority that regulates transplants), http://www.hta.gov.uk/

It is illegal in the US to sell human organs for profit under the National Organ Transplantation Act of 1984 (NOTA):

"Title III-Prohibition of Organ Purchases

Sec. 301. (a) It shall be unlawful for any person to knowingly acquire, receive, or otherwise transfer any human organ for valuable consideration for use in human transplantation if the transfer affects interstate commerce.
(b) Any person who violates subsection (a) shall be fined not more than $50,000 or imprisoned not more than five years, or both.
(c) For purposes of subsection (a):
(1) The term "human organ" means the human kidney, liver, heart, lung pancreas, bone marrow, cornea, eye, bone, and skin, and any other human organ specified by the Secretary of Health and Human Services by regulation."

Our body parts are priceless. We can give them away out of love, but not for sale.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives us air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives us water to drink and food to eat.
God gives us a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves us, and we are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
