The answer to your question is simply...yes! You have a legal obligation to pay. The most important thing in your life is your credit score. If you default on the payment your credit score will be negatively impacted and you will always pay a higher interest rate. You should be working on ways to improve your credit score not damaging it. That is how you will get lower interest rates. Like all things in life you should shop for credit. If you have no credit history or just plain bad credit history you will have to pay a higher rate in order to use someone elses money. That is the way of money. In effect, the world places upon poor a "charge" for being uninformed or educated...some might even call stupid. In either case you are advised to pay!

Elizabeth, Buyer beware. You agreed to the terms of this contract. I don't know how old you are but some day you will want to buy a house. This could be a bad mark on your credit. Try this... contact the finance company and see if there is any way you can apply money to the "principal" of what you owe. $20.00 a week or $50.00 a month, will amaze you how quickly this debt will go away.

You accepted the terms of your contract when you did business with them. Now it is your responsibility to pay them back. Take out a small personal loan from your bank with a lower interest rate and pay dell off.

You should learn your lesson and move on...life is too short.
Find a brand you trust and work towards making money with your computer so that you can pay all your bills.
