No one knew it was me that set the fire. It was well contained. Plus he only said that because he was cheating on me and that was his way of getting out of our 5 year long relationship.

I would have handled my anger by writing about it in a private journal then possibly have burned the paper (alone) since the police could have gotten called for burning his things in front of his new gf's property. But now you should move on and find someone a lot better, maybe one day he will realize what he had once he knows he cant have it anymore and who knows, you may move and and grow to like the new special someone and they will treat you a lot better. More power to ya girl. :)

Perhaps he's onto something. Why anyone would ever commit crimes to prove a proverbial point to someone is way beyond me. Yet another case of reacting without engaging the brain.

I would just be happy he was out of my life. I don't have a problem with what you decided to do. We all make our own choices. I just wouldn't have given him the satisfaction or the opportunity to try to tell others I was some sort of psycho.

I'd of told him he didn't knock me off a pedastal, I'm still better than he is no matter what he says or thinks. He could of picked his things up at the dump.

He was honest with you. That's what women always say they want from men. Why do men lie...because of your immature actions. Burning his belongings and acting like a child. This is why we lie!!!
