Ocean's Deadliest will air Sunday, January 21st in the U.S. and there will also be a Steve Irwin Tribute just after. Is it the same in Oz?

Thanks for all the replies. Since all of his shows were Discovery Channel produced, I guess that gave the U.S. first shot at all. I was in Oz back in November and was surprised how low key all was about him. Americans are crazy about all the shows but maybe it is because we are crazy about the Aussie animals which natives might not get as excited about seeing them every day.

No it's not and I'm not impressed!!!
It was Steve that passed away, not Terri! So why is America getting all the 'first' interviews and getting the 'first' footage and now damn well showing the 'first' of the new series!
By the way, thanks for asking, I needed to get that off my chest!

Steve Irwin was a star in the USA but was not held in such high regard in Australia. His TV programs were made for the US market. Some of them were bought for local consumption but the US always had them first and had them all.
We might get the programs you mention but Irwin has not been a ratings winner in Australia up to now. That might change now he's dead.
