Umm maybe the bible is allegory and in many ways Adam and eve, male/female, positive/negative, active/reflective constitutes your mind and being? Perhaps the tree of knowledge is your own mind that must become the tree of life?

The offspring of Adam and Eve were to suffer the same consequences. This also meant for all generations to come. Adam and Eve knew this but defied the command of God. Although we were not there, Adam and Eve condemned all of us. It may seem unfair and unjust but think about it....the sins of the fathers often follow the offspring. True in so many cases...This too, led to the knowledge that we have free choices between right and wrong, good and evil. Regardless of the pain and hardship that mankind has to suffer, we need to stand steadfast in our belief of our God, our Creator, so that we may inter into the Kingdom that has been sanctioned for us. I for one know that we are the most persecuted of mankind and will be even more so in the future. We have to stand together until the end and there will be no more suffering, no more hunger, no more tears and pain. There will be only a blissful eternity where every true Christian from the entire world can be in PEACE together forever and ever. God bless you....

True, we had no control over Eve's action -- but we do have control over ours.

You don't have to pay for Eve's "problem" if you have its stain removed via baptism.

In a sense, you could say that God already does give us a fair test. He gives us all the power to resist the temptation of sin.

It doesn't involve a tree with fruit, of course -- but we are tempted to sin all the time, just as Eve was.

And just as Eve had the power to resist, so do we. Like Eve, often we yield to temptation.

That's where God's mercy, in response to our sincere yearning for forgiveness, comes in.

That's more than fair, don't you think?

no longer a elementary assessment. in case you replace the Utopian international of A&E to greater healthful today's situations, you ought to think of a international without ailment, the place no one is hungry, suffering or homeless. think of if God certainly appeared, granted all this or maybe provided each and every guy or woman or kinfolk a loose residing house that value no longer something to maintain. What might happen? approximately 10 minutes after God replaced into finished, somebody might say, "whats up, how come that guy have been given the residing house with the relatively stable view", human beings might initiate scuffling with, killing one yet another and complaining that God did no longer care. So i assume a elementary assessment of God to oldsters may be if the dad and mom did each and everything interior their potential to maintain bleach from the youngster however the youngster breaks into the buddies residing house, steals an ax, and then spends an hour smashing open the cabinet the place the bleach is locked so he can drink it.

every human on the face of the earth is born with sin,
but regardless of that, we ALL do it anyway, and hence are imperfect. We can only be redeemed through faith in Christ.

If every human did't have to be born and tought this would be a fair action taken by God. But since we don't just apper out of then air, we must learn of Gods forgivness. And the one true way of this is by knowing that God sent His only son to us that who ever belives in him shall not be punished but shall have ever lasting life. John 3:16

The Tree of Knowledge is readily available for those who seek.
As the tree symbolizies the dimensions as they rise from where
we are, up to where God is.

A child born in the ghetto to a crackhead is also not responsible for the actions of that person, but still they suffer the consequences. Adam and Eve set in motion a chain of events, and they tainted their own bloodline. It is not so much that you are being charged with their crime, you are simply suffering the consequences of having criminals for parents.... just like you would if your actual mother and father were actual criminals.

Accept Jesus as your Savior, it is through grace we have been saved, not the things we do. If you do this you will not be punished for your sins Jesus will have removed your sins from you. But beware of putting too much trust in people, they do not have all the answers, only God does. It is in a relationship with Jesus that you will be saved.

When are you people gonna get it straight?

What the First Couple did was not gain us a punishment, it was to LOSE us certain gifts.

What Jesus did was not only pay for their disobedience, but return those gifts to us. And since He is God and God is eternal, all that He does reverberates throughout all of time, INCLUDING that return. The First Couple, whoever they were, got the goodies back without even realizing it. They got 'em back in eternity. So will you. If'n you want 'em, that is.
