Yea, I had several friends who had this pierced and all three of then had that bump. It looks really nasty. Maybe a plastic surgeon can remove it.

I had to look up what tragus meant.

When I had my belly button pierced, this happenend.after the first 3 weekes a hard goo filled lump formed. then about 1 1/2 years alter the same thing happened.I had to squish all the goo out, it was so gross.but after I finally replaced the metal bar it went away.
During the time when this happed the earings i wore irritated me to the point where i could not wear any for like 4 months..

I would try taking the jewelery out and trying a different piece of metal or maybe plastic ?

Pierced tragus can take anywhere from two months to one year to fully heal. Like any other external piercing, it should be cleaned several times daily with a solution of warm water and non-iodized sea salt or a pre-mixed saline solution (like contact lens cleaner), and a mild antibacterial or antimicrobial soap. Harsh sterilizers like hydrogen peroxide, iodine, betadine and rubbing alcohol should be avoided as they promote scarring. Many piercers instead recommend applying Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca Oil) to the site with a cotton swab; doing so can also help treat and prevent keloids forming. Tea tree oil (Melaleuca Oil) can cause allergic reactions; if this occurs use should be stopped.

I had a keloid on my orbital and it took almost a year to go away with constitent sea salt soaks. I would recommend keeping the piercing in at least until it goes away. I've heard that you can "pop" them, I'd avoid that unless a doctor recommended it. I have a feeling that it would leave a lot of scarring behind. The one thing that many people forget to do with ear piercings is to change your pillowcases often and use non-irritating detergent.

Pure aloe. Either from the plant or something like George's Aloe Spray where the only ingredient is aloe. Don't use aloe gel for sunburn that has other ingredients like alcohol. Overall just be really nice to it. Keep it clean but don't mess with it too much. The more you mess with it the more irritated it gets and the worse your little bubble will get. In my experience, the more I ignored it the more quickly it went away.

That "lump" is called a keloid. It is swelling around the pierced area.
I have never personally had one, but a friend of mine, got one on her tragus. She kept on cleaning the area, and with time, it went away. But, she told me that if you go back to your piercer they will "pop" it for you.
I would personally go to the doctor instead, have him look at it and he can possibly prescribe you some antibiotics and it could help. But just keep it clean...it should just go away with time.

Why not get rid of the piercing? Obviously, it has become more trouble than it's worth.
