First of all, god doesn't exist. Second of all, if he did, why would he command you to perform s&m. Or does circumcision fall into a different category? I always thought that purposely cutting yourself was bad, but call me crazy. I personally did have it done to me as a baby, only because little boys aren't that big on personal hygiene, and don't know that you can get infections from improper cleaning. No one in their right mind would believe that not cutting yourself in the genitals would constitute a reason to be sent to hell, only people without independant thought would believe such a bogus claim. It is only done to promote proper hygiene.

God has a plan and purpose in everything he does. Adam and Eve was a perfect creation of God (Thou Adam was not circumcised) he called it very good. The covenant of circumcision was generally given only to the Jews and not to the gentiles.
The foreskin represent the flesh (sinful nature) and when this flesh was removed, it represent the newness of a man. which means Sanctified or separated.
In the Old Testament Uncircumcise men are called unclean and the circumcise men are called clean. Today it really doen't matter if your circumcise or not, the only thing that matter is the circumcision of the heart.

Circumcision was an outward sign of a inward change in the hearts of God's chosen people. It's how he set them apart from the rest of humanity.
Nowadays, the New Testament talks about believers being "circumcised of the heart."

That which you obtain too easily, you value too lightly.
To sacrifice the foreskin in obedience to God's Will is to indicate your willingness to do His Will.
For the Hebrews this was a contractual agreement. The sign and signature of their agreement was the loss of the penile foreskin.
It also made it pretty darn easy to tell a proper Hebrew from a spy from another, less friendly Semitic group. Where do you think the strip search got its start?

If the sun can give you skin cancer, why then does God allow men to become bald when hair would protect their scalp? Why would he allow innocent children to have debilitating diseases?
Answer: He doesn't. He has set a set of circumstances in motion and he does not interfere. It's how we react to situations on which we are later judged.

The foreskin is not dirty,God asked this of the Hebrews as their agreement of the covenant and as a sign of humble obedience to it.

Because God is apparently over-obsessed with wee-wee's. Please do this for me: do a search and find out the exact number of times the word "foreskin" appears in the bible, I bet it's way too many.
