Your b/f and you can't talk to him about your period? if you're comfortable enough to sleep with him then you should be able to talk to him about anything. Maybe you're moving a little too fast, and should take a step back and get a little more acquainted before you do anything else...

Hi, theres nothing to worry about. I told my bf form the begining of the relationship that I dont have sex while I am on my period. I dont think you should be shy about it as it a natural thing. If you dont deal with now, its just gonna keep happening month after month. If it does keep happening he gonna feel theres something wrong somewhere.
I get the feeling that you dont have much experience with blokes, i didnt mean that in a bad way, we all gotta start somewhere and thats the reason why you find it difficult. LIsten if he respects you he wont mind and if he does complain maybe hes not worth it. Seat him down with a cup of tea.
I wouldnt recommend you do it anyways it bear stinks, its messy and the smell stays on certain places for a good few days.

You need to take an active pill each day for at least seven days in a row before you are protected by it. If you aren't on hormonal birth control then there is no safe time to no use a condom. You can get pregnant at any time of the month - it's just more likely when you are ovulating.

Don't be too shy to tell him because your period is a natural part of you and he needs to understand that, you guys just need to create new pleasures or just you focus on trying to pleasure him until your period passes, I've been there done that; he won't mind; hopefully he lovingly understands and accept your way of pleasing him.

If you´re too shy to tell him, then you don´t need to be in a relationship. Furthermore you´re too immature to be on this Site. I respectfully suggest to you young Lady; to further your Education, and concentrate on your Future; rather than throw it away, because you think that opening your Legs for a weak promise; willl get you somewhere in Life !!!!!!!

If you can't be open enough to communicate and say "hey I don't want to do it right now, I'm on my period.." then I'd say you're not ready yet. You need to be open and honest enough to talk about anything. You can do it on your period. Don't think you can't, but it is messy. Don't be shy about it. If anything it'll turn him off and then you'll get out of the pressure of doing it. =)

I have found, and it is clinically proven, that womans hormones are raging at that time and are ready to 'knock it out'. I think it's the cleaning up after that spoils their mood!
Aaahhhh, just put down some newspaper!
