Yes! It is a scam. They want your money! They will ask for fees to transfer your money to you.(And there isnt any money for you) There are no lotteries in which you can win if you haven't played. Delete the email.

Of course its a joke, most of us get junk mail that tells you about a free offer, an airline confirmation or winning the lottery etc etc.... its just junk mail, all a scam, they do it so u can enter ur details to win whatever it is and then they use ur details to ..... whatever they use it for . The best thing u can do is notify it as junk mail so it doesnt go in your inbox... and i may sound like your mother but ONLY READ EMAILS FROM PEOPLE YOU KNOW.

All I can tell my friend in Yahoo answers is to always be very wary of web-sites on line that tell you that you have 'won money' to win money or any financial rewards, you would have to have entered into a legitimate contest, or placed a legal bet with a reputable bookmaker, in which case you would KNOW that you have won, also please be aware of E.Mails asking tyou to confirm your bank details on line, always just delete them, as no reputable uk bank would ask these questions of you on-line, much rather they would contact you directly by snail mail, as they already know who you are and where you are at, I hope this reassures you. but good luck anyway. 'bye

I agree with man with the golden gun, i'm just surprised you are getting these now. I always used to get abused by fictional lotteries, that i'd won this or that or the other. Sorry to disappoint you but it's probably just a joke.

It's a scam, I'll bet they asked you to send them money or details of your bank account(for administration purposes)...DON'T DO IT. Lots have and lived to regret it.Do what I did, tell them to deduct the administration fee from the winnings and send you the balance...you won't hear from them again.
