theres a tax irs website that you can go to and it will tell you when they recieved it and when they mailed out your refund so you can trace your refund

It depends on whether you claimed any reliefs that just got extended - state sales tax, student loan interest or deduction, educator deduction and the like. Those returns will not start being processed until February 3rd. Don't bank on seeing your money until mid-late February.

Why don't you e-file next year? You can do it for free at the IRS website - just click on the efile link on the left hand side. Any return submitted and accepted by early Thursday one week is deposited into your bank account on Friday of the next week (assuming you elect for direct deposit). So any refund will take at most 15 days - maybe as little as eight.
