bear liver actually contains toxic levels of Vitamin A

note: the beta carotine (which is a precursor to Vitamin A found in vegetables such as carrorts, pumpkin, etc.) is NOT fat soluable, therefore it is much, much harder to get too much of it. Liver (espeically bear liver -- because they eat fish whole, eating the livers of fish after fish) is the biggest "watch out" for Vitamin A intake because Vitamin A is stored in the liver.
