This increase the pleasure which they received from from beer. This give them a kick. It is a state of mind or perception, applies to those who believe in it.

You do have a good answer, the only thing I can add is some people do this out of habit, some do it so that they do not drink any more , because they realise that the amount that they have consume is having effect on them, they should not finish it, so once they add ashes, the bear smells and test terrible, they do not drink it even if they pick it up to drink.

"cigarrate asses" ????
I've seen people put cigarette ashes in empties because they don't have an ashtray. I don't recall every seeing a cigarrate *** before. Are they blonde?

It's just a handy ash tray, and the leftover beer drowns any fire left. They don't drink it. Pretty hellish to try and recycle those cans, though. Then again, it's safer than a lot of ashtrays.

If they do drink it, they are probably drunk or didn't notice someone using it as an ashtray/spitoon.
