Once you start to watch a Korean drama you just can't stop. There is just so much love, hatred, jealousy, and of course drama. You can't just watch only one drama and not watch any other because they are so ADDICTING!!!!

I like Korean drama. Actually, it's very famous in our country (Philippines). We've even termed it 'Koreanovela'.
Why do I like it? It's light, interesting, entertaining, it finishes in a couple of months and most of all, it's suitable for all ages because there's not much kissing in the drama that kids should be prohibited from watching. We have watched a lot of international dramas from other countries and they are rated PG because of some sex and violence themes that they include in their scenes.
Usually, the stories are simple and there seems to be always a twist in the ending, I'm not a Korean so I still could not guess how exactly the story would end. After a day's work, it's really relaxing to watch those kinds of drama, it indeed relieves your stress and ends your day with a smile on your face =)

I think some korean dramas are really worthwhile to watch, for instance like Princess Hours, Full House, My Name is Kim Sam Soon, and Jewel in the Palace.
But nowadays, you must be selective abt what you see, because there are many new dramas, but some may not be worth seeing at all.

haha i think the first answer misunderstood the question...I LOVE korean dramas! they're wonderful entertainment and the actors and actresses are so passionate and convincing. Also, korean dramas can potray love without bedroom scenes or love affairs and such. Korean Dramas have engulfed most of asia now, and they are becoming more and more popular. they can teach you morals, they are inspiring, and even the most dramatic have comedy.

The entire global community has the right to plan and extinguish this "North Korean fire" before it becomes a wild blaze.
The country is heavily oppressed, the people have very few freedoms, and the government focuses too heavily on the military even if their technology is outdated... The dictator of the country's probably mentally ill, and if I were a doctor, I'd prescribe a couple shots to the head to cure it.

It has alot family value, and of course love, it kind of teaches you. But If you get ideas from dramas and put them in real life love, your gotta have a bad time, you know what I am say.

I think some people get all obsessive and addictive once they start to watch a particular series. Alot of my relative and my parents watch them. Personaly, I don't watch it alot - even the popular one, Goong. They're not so interesting and entertaining enough for me. I watch one here and there when my parents watch it.

most of the time the protagonist dies in the end,
most of the stories have no happy endings..
but the comedy-romance are better
