It's really this simple. If he respects you, he won't pressure you for sex. You need to tell him straight up that you plan to wait until you get married to have sex and if he can't respect that then he needs to go find someone else.
Just makes sure you aren't leading him on. If you are going down on him or letting him go down on you, or having anal sex, or letting him touch you then you are sending mixed messages. No sex until marriage has to mean nothing sexual or it's just a lie.

No it's not all about sex and if the guy you are with can't wait, get rid of him and find someone else.
Sounds as if he's saying what you want to hear so that he can get you into bed. Guys mostly are jerks. I should know, I am one. A guy that is, not necessarily a jerk, though opinions differ there. :)
Sex is an important part of a relationship, for me it is a commuication and a togetherness that opens other parts of the relationship up. But if you don't want sex before you are married then that is fine.
The other thing is that I have had some great sex in some relationships that were awful. And I've had some lovely relationships where the sex was so so. But sex is only a part of what we need and is not the be all and end all. I love my partner at the moment and we have much that is great. The sex is not so great, but we're working on it. And the fact that we can work on it together is a really great thing.

I wouldn't mind being with a woman with your ideals. I feel similar, maybe not wait until marraige, but I easily could. The majority of people these days don't care about personality or ethics, it is just about getting down and dirty, then they wonder why it doesn't work out or there are divorces. The couples never get to know each others' heart and souls anymore. I don't even try to date anymore because it seems that is all the girl wants, and honestly, most of the time I would love to just spend time together appreciating who they are or gazing at how beautiful they are to me.

Well first of all you should never compromise on your principles at all and its your stand that u do not want pre-marital sex and if he doesn't understand it and try to talk you into doing premarital sex about it even though he is saying that he is going to marry, then I really do not think he is husband material to you. Guys usually want to have sex but there are some out there that will respect your wishes and wait until the wedding day. Those men are the ones you want since they respect you.

Are there reasonable expectations?
If you've only been going out for a couple of years, and he's "demanding" sex now, I'd be very suspicious.
If he can't/won't wait until the both of you are married, or you're comfortable and ready to decide by yourself, then drop him. Basically, he doesn't respect you, and he won't respect you later.
Also remember, don't make him wait on the marriage thing too long either. If you both really love each other, then you'll both be making steps towards the marriage. No progress = no seriousness.

If he is insisting on sex, and you are not ready for it then he is not right for you, it doesnt matter that he has asked you to marry him, once you have sex that will probably be withdrawn, he is using you, not respecting your wishes, sit him down and tell him this, if he has a real problem with it then it is time to let him go.

No sense in being confused. You have to look at the other qualities that he has. What is in your heart? Is he telling the truth about wanting to marry you? If he is not willing to wait till you are ready than let him go.

If you don't like a boy looking for sex in your relationship, then you should say farewell to him. All considerate boys do not ask their girlfriends for unreasonable issues. Young people tend to be not patient. When you talk about relationship, sex is not the only issue we should take seriously as there are many issue for us to consider. Be wiser and after all, you will be happier.

I would say that this guy is not for you! My guess is that he is going to say whatever he thinks you want to hear to have sex with you. Overall... it doesn't sound like he loves you as much as he says he does!
I would guess... that even IF you get married... it may not last, because he is going to persuade or manipluate you during the marriage like he does now.
Get a new man who will cherish you and honor your wishes!!!!
