I appreciate your help guys but one of the pieces of advice is relevant to Outlook rather than Express. The other - you can't save as a template, only as "stationary" which doesn't look at the words just the background/font/images etc... Any other ideas???

Create your document in MS Word then copy it and paste to the email. Save the email (template) to drafts and there you are, finished. However you may want to try top email it a few times to ensure the format does not change .. otherwise you should be OK.
