They're not boring. It's just that once we become born again, the sinful things we use to do just do not appeal to us anymore. We want to follow the ways Jesus taught us and get ready for our afterlife. We don't want to be of the world and walk with the wicked. We prefer a good Christian speaker over a rock concert, or a good Bible study over a night out in the bar. The sins of the world are just no fun anymore. Don't get me wrong, we born again Christians have alot of fun. We travel and go to places like everyone else, just that we refrain from anything that could cause us to sin.

I agree, they're not open-minded. They're also people who are naturally built to WANT to follow the rules at all times. Rules make them feel safe. I've observed this is in my super-Catholic parents and extended family, who are very afraid of the world around them.

Many of them can only talk on one subject, can't see more than one side of that particular subject, and become hostile when anyone challenges their rigid beliefs on that subject.

Their entire life, their entire belief system, everything they stand for can be summed up in a single book, and 99% of them are using the same book. There's not a lot of variation. In a few years, we'll be able to program a robot with all their little quotes and sayings, and religious people will become obsolete.

I got news for you slick. I know it may come as a shock, but 99.99% of the entire world, religious or not, are boring as hell. Religion has nothing to do with it. When you get some more wisdom you will learn that correlation is NOT causality.....

religious people see the big picture....there are those who are looking for what would be a quick fix.....also temporary satisfaction. everyone wants to be the rabbit that's fast and quick but its the underestimated tortoise that prevails in the long run.

One of lifes great questions,
Why are hommos so fickle and peeveish, why are hommos so unpopular.
Why do gays walk on eggshells,
why are real lesbeens so millie tant.

Rather be boring than bent anyday of the week,no regrets.

The Pharisees call themselves "christian".they are teachers of the law and yet they don't live what they teach.it's thesame today.some christians preach the gospel, they talk and explain the Word very good and precisely but the problem is they don't practice what they teach.
some christians insist that their religion only can save..if you don't join them they say you will go to hell.

because many religions teach you to be ashamed of your body and most natural human urges are considered to be evil. Then they add on a bunch of rules for what you can and can't do for good measure.

open minds and religion do not mix well.

throughout history, one of the main aims of religion is to stop people enjoying anything that involve god.
