I'm bipolar and yes the St. John's Wort helped alot. Like many bipolar people I had a tendency to stop taking the prescribed medication when I was starting to get manic. I've been dealing with my moods with diet ever since. St. John's Wort is good and so is evening primrose oil and fish oils (I use them all). Lots of excercise is really helpful is well. I also avoid wheat and eat lots of bananas and fresh foods.
