It is not so unusual for a man to die but to raise again that is the mystery that cannot be believed or understood? Also 70 of his disciples left him after following him for a few years because he said you must eat my flesh and drink his blood to make it into heaven; this was a very hard to believe saying being a Jew, because in times past the Law taught you could never drink blood or eat human flesh, so therefore all 70 left him because he said this. The Lord's supper was a covenant given after they did the passover to remember always the Blood of Jesus saves us and the flesh walked a walk that was right with God and his flesh and blood was given to save our flesh and blood with a New Covenant, this is what is being referred to here, dying to your own self will and taking another will other than your own. And you believe the story by taking communion.

The KJV does say "ye do shew the Lord's death till he come", in German "verkündigt ihr des Herrn Tod bis daß er kommt". Well, I believe it means to proclaim that he died for our sins, which we do, when we remember him in taking bread and cup. Notice, it doesn't say "you proclaim that he is dead or verkündigt ihr, daß er tot ist"... You have to take the whole context, because he said he would rise and has risen, as Paul (the writer of Corinthians) also confirms (he even saw him)...

My KJV of the Bible says it like this..
For often as ye eat this bead and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord till he come.
I think this means that we are by taking this communion we are preparing ourselves for his final return.
I have no idea about this decoding you are refeering too.

PS..It has been pointed out to me that I miss quoted this verse above.
"For often as ye eat this bead, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord till he come"
it should read
"For often as ye eat this bead and drink this cup, ye do show the LORD'S till he come.
sorry for the misquote!!
THANK YOU MAGGIE !!
