What you need is known as a virtual drive program. This program type is known for gaming purposes, copying of the iso image file to the harddrive and being read in a disk drive that is not actually a hardware component. This allows the cd files to run the game without the original cd in the hardware drive installed in the system. I used to use Virtualcd v6 (v6=version 6) and it would read my game disk without the disk in my system as the *.iso file is what data cd's preferred method of information storage. you can try the program called clonecd.exe you can find it in a web search. It will after you install it have a virtual drive that should be able to mount your *.iso files into it then allow you to browse the contents of your file bewarned it has a 15-30 day trial use then will cost to continue useing it. I found it to be worth the while on my old windows 95 system.

Well, you're in luck. ISO is usually an "image" file of a CD/DVD. So if this is a game, it's most likely an image file of the game's CD. What you might need to do now is to load that ISO using burning softwares like Nero. Nero will allow you to open that ISO and directly burn that into a CD/DVD (depending on whether it is an image of a CD or a DVD).
With Nero, you'll need to open either the Nero Burning ROM program or the Nero Express. From Nero Express main dialog box, click "Disk Image or Saved Project", navigate through your ISO file, and click Next. The next steps would be easy to comprehend. For Nero burning ROM, it's similar except that you'll have to go through File > Open, it will then open a dialog box which is like a Wizard. Just read through, set the speed of writing and click Next and follow through the next steps.
Alternatively, you'll need some software like the Virtual DAEMON Manager to "mount" that image file. It will be treated like a CD-ROM drive. After the ISO file has been mounted, it's as if you have a new CDROM drive (or a virtual drive), if your ISO has autorun in it, it may even run the installer allowing you to install the game, and eventually play it.

open your cd writer/burning program. See if you can find a menu called burn ISO image to disk, select the ISO file from inside the program, put a blank cd in cd drive, and start burning. The ISO image will be transferred to the cd. After that you will be able to play the games.

ISO files are not zipped files(however they can be in a zip file). They are what one calls an exact copy of a cd. Which means that it has all the hidden stuff that you can't see when browsing. Like the above user said you will need to burn it to a cd or use a emulator like deamon tools.
