U hav 2 b sure first with the condition if it is realy a fungal infection.A no of drugs r available in market for fungal infections.Potasium hydroxide is used 4 diagnosng the fungus undr microscope whch is v simple.Ur age is 2 b taken into considration.U wl hav 2 go for local and systemic drug therapy 4 more than 1 and half months.U can use tab griesomet 500 mg twice daily for more than a month and nizeral shampoo twice a week to b used as othr ordinary shampo but kept for a lonper period of time.

Are you sure you have a fungal infection? It would be good to know what type of fungus as well. Your options are either to apply anti-fungal creams like tolnaftate (tinactin) or terbinafine (lamisil) or take oral anti-fungal medications like sporonox or lamisil. Both oral or topical treatments take quite a while. At least 3-4 weeks or even more depending on the severity. Always keep the affected area dry because fungus love moist dark areas. Also, consult you dermatologist or family physician before taking any medication.

You need to go to the doctor or the pharmacist and speak to them. There are different creams on the market and powders too to treat such an affliction.
everyone is different and requires different treatments.
Meantime, do not share your soap, towels or clothes with anyone. It can be spread if it is fungal.
