I have yet to hear of any. Any Karate guys who know of any Karate fighters who fight in Pride, UFC, IFL, K1, etc.. who have good records or who are champions because I have never heard of any. Just curious.

Thank you for link Bushido with karate guy knocking out the pimp but I was more referring to professional fighting. Not someone beating someone up on the street who obviously doesn't train. Also the pimp didn't even throw a punch and had his hands down. If you could find me another video of lets say a Muay Thai guy, wrestler, or Brazilian Jiu Jitsu fighter vs. a Karate guy I would appreciate much more. Thank you for your feedback and I look forward to hearing more of your comments soon. By the way there are purists in the MMA world for example: Mirko Flipovic-Muay Thai and Rickson Gracie-Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

For those of you who do not know where Brazilian Jiu jitsu is devoloped from It originated as a fighting art in india and spread throughout asia into japan and became refined as Japanese Jiu Jitsu. Origin
The art began with Mitsuyo Maeda (later known as Count Koma), a Japanese expert judoka and member of the Kodokan. Jigoro Kano sent Maeda overseas to spread his Judo to the world. Eventually, Maeda immigrated to Brazil in the 1910s where an influential businessman named Gastão Gracie helped him get established. In return for his aid, Maeda taught the fighting art of Jujitsu to Gastão's son Carlos Gracie, who then taught the art to his brothers, including Hélio Gracie. The brothers trained many of their sons, who carried on the family tradition. Hélio had the opportunity to teach a class one day while Carlos was absent. Through constant technical refinement in training and real fighting, emphasizing ground-work, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu as it is known today was created.
