We see that the garbages are thrown across streets in cities. Villages do not have good drainage systems. Wastes are thrown at all places. Having a clean environment increases our health and also our mental outlook changes.
We see europe and US having neat roads, streets. Why is that we do not see such neat roads in India? What should be done to have an environment on par with these countries (US/Europe )?

They should be rich
I am pretty sure that once they eat everyday they will invest on other things
If we really care about garbage on indian roads, let s help them.
They are not poor because they dont work.
They are poor because they receive 1/4 of the salary that any american or european citizen receives for exactly the same work.
That is because big companies are moving there.
If we dont want to help them, at least, let s give them time.
And please, talking about garbage and pollution, dont compare USA with Europe. There is a big difference, unfortunately.

Change people's habits and consciousness. Main thing are people minds. The laws just support that.

Europe and America adopted regimented sanitation methods years ago (a British notion) and we financed it by plundering "third world" countries like India, If we can ever stop this plunder and pay the true price for the stuff we want everyone will come to a level playing field. The work of Buckminster Fuller spelled out this disparity decades ago but no one listened to him then or us now. The processes used in sanitation are fairly simple but you have to force people to do the right thing, left to themselves they will toss their waste over the fence and go about their business.
