If Roy Jones would have stayed at heavyweight after the fight with Ruiz and fought Tyson and Lennox Lewis and beat them both, and then retired, he would have finished his career 50-1. Would he be the greatest boxer ever?

No. Roy Jones did the right thing in staying as a light heavyweight. I think he is one of if not the best light heavyweights of all time because he did this. Jones would not have lasted long against the likes of Tyson or Lewis. It would have been too much of a weight difference for him to handle.

I say yes. Not because of the Tyson fight, but the Lewis fight. He NEVER would have beat Lewis, but, if he did... who else would have been a better fighter? And sorry, don't even give me that Ali sh1t. So far Ali is "best", and though great, he is over rated. But Ali has been surpassed many times. I mean, yeah, he beat quitter/cheater Liston. And never gave Big George a rematch. Won his 3rd title from Spinks... Jones could have been the best. But, whatever. He blew it.
