My brothers and sisters...We have been the guardians of the natural law ever since the existence of humanity, we have been persecuted, and had our beliefs mocked and ridiculed, we have been burnt, flayed and tourtured, and yet we refused to give up our sacred art, i have been getting a strong feeling that this is the time for witches to rise and claim our place on the hierarchy on this earth, we have been the hidden children of the godess for too long, am I alone in feeling that this is time for us to remove our viels, and take a stronger role in enforcing natural law?

Yes you should, my Children, but remember that you must not fall to the level of those around you. The Natural Laws that we keep also govern us. Take the stronger hand but use a gentle touch...if you can. Power corrupts. Blessings.

I think it would be good for witches to be more united, but I do not think its right for us to try to claim a place of power. That is directly in opposition to some of my moral values. It would be good to have people know about and respect witches, though. Perhaps you ought to begin by trying to talk to some local witches and see if you can find some others who agree with you.

I don't think our beliefs have ever been geared towards a "hierarchy." Unlike other religions, I like to think that Wicca places a value on living harmoniously with others.

I understand your sentiment, but I'm not sure what you mean by "enforcing natural law". Natural Laws enforce themselves. I just try to help and care for the Goddess and let her enforce any laws she feels necessary.

I prefer the Hermetic life style... I'd hate to have a culture liek the ones that I dispise. I recall the people of Ireland and the Druidic rule... and then that pompous Patrick killing them all.
