Hi im getting married this year and the price ranges of veils can vary from little to alot, it all depends on what style you want and if you can get one to match your dress. Why not jot down a few notes on this veil you have seen and see if you can find on smililar but cheaper. Ive seen a few expensive ones and they arnt as nice as the cheaper ones. It also depends on where you are getting your veil from and if you will risk buying one from the internet.
Ive seen a tiara and it looks lovley but its online and cheap but i dont know wheather to get it or not as up till now the best one ive seen and i have looked at loads. Also i can get it with a veil as well. I was going to get everything from the shop ive got my dress from but they dont tell you the price of things till you have picked the one you want. So known my look i will find a veil and it will be like £300 or something. I would just look about and see if you can get one a bit cheaper. But you may have to pay this if its the one you want.
I found this website brilliant

I got an absolutely beautiful one on eBay it was covered in crystals with little hanging crystals around the edge it was brand new from a bridal shop on there. make sure you check the sellers feedback and see what other people have to say I paid £27 including postage. It was only a short one to the shoulders but even the cathedral length ones were about £50.
I would make sure the veil is not made of net get a tulle one or organza

really depends on where you buy it from - £180 seems a lot to me. Most bridal veils are really the same basic design and you pay a lot for a 'name'! I'd go away from the high street, perhaps a smaller wedding shop, or even go on Ebay - there's plenty for sale at a fraction of the price. To get it in perspective, you only wear the veil once and no-one really notices it - they all notice teh dress and your big smile on the day. So the veil is a small part of it and, frankly, £180 could be better spent on more champagne for the reception or more cocktails and massages at your honeymoon destination!

Hi
Mine cost only £50.00 from a little bridal shop in the market town where I grew up. The big high street stores can charge what they want some can cost up to £500... hope this helps

That does sound a lot, but then you don't say how log it is, or design.
Personally my vail was my something borrowed. A lifelong friend got married the year before, and her vail was the perfect match to my dress, so I asked it I may borrow it.
Why not try e-bay, or your local free-ads, as someone may be selling the ideal one for you at a fraction of the cost.

I got a really beautiful one for 30 dollars.. It was at an Independent shop around my area. You should look at little shops around you if you don't wanna spend hundreds of dollars at a big name place.. I tried one on at David's Bridal that was $500.00.. More then my dress!! Good luck and Best Wishes!

Hi - mine was £200, it was bum length ith crystals sewn all through it. My tiara was £250, again with cystals. My dress was £800, with crystals on the bodice and crystal buttons down the back. All these were considered average price when looking at other shops! HTH

It depends where you are looking. Smaller independent shops are likely to have them a little cheaper and often willing to negotiate. Try going to a few wedding fairs, which will start soon, you will be able to get fantastic bargains there! All the best for your big day! x

ouch!! that's a lot!!! try this site! its has things that vendors and other brides are selling! http://www.FreeWeddingClassifieds.com
and try this site too. even if you don't download her book (like me) you still get really helpful email tips!! http://www.fireyourweddingplanner.com i've also suggested a million times, amke it yourself!! or go to a local craft store. you can get them there for about 20 US dollars, which is still a lot cheaper than 180 pounds!! or you could always wear flowers in your hair or a circlet made of flowers like what is sold at Renaissance festivals. they look pretty and don't cost anywhere near that much!

Well my mom is making mine and I want a chapel length veil and we got shimmer gold tone tule for R80 which is about $11 or 6 pounds. So if you have a little bit of know how you can do it yourself for much less. Here is a link to make your own : http://www.wegotgame.net/jen/veils.html
