can someone tell me what is the average price is for buying a wedding veil.
as i have seen one for £180.00.

The thing is, there is no "average price". You can go simple (arrange it yourself for $40) or elaborate (have some else arrange a disgustingly elaborate piece for $5000). Generally, in bridal shops, you can find an acceptable veil for around fifty dollars (I'm not sure of the conversion rate). But keep in mind that it is a no-frills type of get-up that only involves the piece that attaches it to your hair and possibly a faux pearl or satin embellished trim. I hope I at least gave you a good idea on what you are looking to spend. If you go the simple do-it yourself route, you are looking at about half the cost. No matter what route you take, I hope you have the best wedding ever, be sane and safe, have a good time, and take care! :)

I spent about $100 for mine but that was in 2000. So that price is about right.

My veil was $150 and then $75 for the under veil

oh, it could be as cheap as buying a used veil at a garage sale for 50 cents, or......the sky is the limit with a designer veil with diamonds sewn into the trim, imported lace....etc, etc, etc. Just go with what you like.

I know that when I bought mine, it came free with the dress. plus if money is an issue, then go to an arts and crafts store , they sell them , and decorate them yourself.. that should cut down well on the pricing..
