I was in a church and at one time; I was very close to God. But now I have so much anger! So much that I find it hard to even pray. It seems like God is there, but I just cant get to him when I repent. I do want a relationship with Christ. But I know I need to get over my hatred towards others. I'm wrong for bottling up all this hatred. But people don't make it easy to let it go. I desperately need God. And please; if you are not a believer, don't insult me! I respect scientists! I'm not someone who is gonna criticize your work or beliefs.

Jesus Loves You, Return to your family, Prodigal Son!?!?

Can I start by saying that your answer is Jesus. There is a love that He has for you that no other has. Even if there was a hatred against him, He would still love. You need to know that you are a new creation in God. There is nothing here on earth that can separate you from the Lord. Not even the feeling of anger and hatred. I want you to know that your personal relationship with the Lord is the most important thing. Church is there to encourage and uplift, but the most important thing is the relationship. That is what God desires to have with you. I believe that as you draw close to God you will find a more fulfilled life. God Bless and we will be praying for you.

Its easy, just ask in prayer for Jesus to forgive you for what you have done and turn away from the thngs that keep you away from showing his love, like excessive drinking, speeding in excess of the speed limits, asking God to damn things that really don't need Gods intervntion. Then practice kindness toward everyone because life really is a gift which we can share. When you do these things, God will guide you and protect you. This is no joke.

you are not alone in this ,everybody suffers from different thing for you it is anger for somebody else it may be another thing like intolerence or inablity of forgivness and the only way for you and me and everybody to overcome our problems is to come close to God and have a better relationship with Him . He is always there opening His arms for us . you can not overcome your problems and get over your anger as long as you away from God you need His help to be more stronger in facing your anger and He doesnot expect us to be perfect bec simply we can not ,He just wants us to talk to Him and ask Him for help to know Him better and you will get over your anger gradually. You simply ve reversed the process .Go to Him and He will make you a better person but donot to try to solve your problems on yourown first and then go to Him bec this will not help you much . He is the cure and the solution and the power of change

I know the feeling. I am a Christian who loves Jesus so much and the Father as well. I also have an anger problem and that is why you have to take things to God every time you sin.nobody is perfect. But that is not an excuss to keep doing it. Yes I have to learn to forgive people too as too many people in the past and present have hurt me, and yes I do wish I were in Heaven now so I would not have to endure this, and the main reason is to be with Jesus, as he is pure darling. Jesus understands what you are going through. Take it to him and tell Jesus that you want him to control your life, and cleanse you from the inside out. Tell Jesus that you are sorry for ignoring him and tell Jesus that you want to love him more and ask Jesus to help you. Jesus said besides me you can do nothing. How true. We have to lay every burden down and hold nothing back.Repent of your sins and mean them and turn from them. Ask Jesus to help you have more of a relationship with him. Surround yourself with other Christians that can help you,not judge you. Tell Jesus everyday you love him and that he is worth it because he is. Jesus loves you as his little brother, and he needs to know if you love him too, and if you do please spend time with him talking to him with all your heart because he cares for you.

Instead of worrying about getting over your anger *first*, go to church. Fraternizing with believers, speaking to them about your issues will make it easier to let go. Try to see the people who anger you as souls that are themselves in need of healing. Try to see them as God sees them. Believe me, I know how difficult this can be. I have the same struggle.

Try writing all the things that you feel are keeping you from HIM down, make it a complete list, all the things that you feel anger for, then try to work through them one at a time, do not try to do it all at once or it will be to over whelming, when you feel that you are finished take those papers and shred them, knowing that HE is there for you and has always been and will always be there for you.
