Some scholars say that there were many holy men preaching at that time and that the events of his life were actually taken from many different people.

I suspect that these holy men used 'magic tricks' such as turning water into wine to fool people into thinking they were genuine.

However, there really was a Jesus, and he really was crucified, that goes without question. But whether he was a political revolutionary, a charlatan, a holy man...? The truth has been lost in time

Jesus Christ was the first born of all creation.
His heavenly Father,Jehovah God created him and then through Jesus all other things were created in the heavens and upon the earth.(Col.1:15).He came to earth and took on human form so that he could offer his perfect human life as a proprietory sacrifice on behalf of all mankind to buy back what Adam(another perfect man)had lost when he disobeyed Jehovah in the garden of Eden.And that was the gift of everlasting life.By exercising faith in the ransom sacrifice of Christ we have the opportunity to have our sins forgiven and the fulfillment of the promise of eternal life in a paradise earth.(Rom.5:12;
John3:16;17:3;1Cor.15:22)
Jesus is now back in heaven,ruling as King of God's heavenly Kingdom.And in God's due time Jesus will take the lead in destroying all those who are in opposition to God and peace and harmony will once again be restored on the earth.(Pr.2:21;Ps37:9-11,29)
Unlike the pagan doctrine of the Trinity,which is preached widespread in Christendom,the Bible clearly teaches that Jesus is the Son of God and not God the Son.Nor is he part of a truine godhead.

Jesus was an extraterrestrial ambassador to planet Earth. His mother, Mary, was abducted by aliens and artificially inseminated onboard the flying saucers, allowing her to give birth while still being a virgin. Jesus used a combination of psionic ability and alien technology to accomplish many wondrous feats, which later became known as "miracles."

After the Romans had him crucified, advanced alien medicine was able to resuscitate him, and the aliens used their antigravity beams to transport him back onto the mothership. The primitive humans misinterpreted this as a final divine act, as the antigravity made him literally ascend through the clouds to reach his ship, but he and his people were actually sick of this planet and wanted nothing more to do with it.
