Unfortunately, I screwed up. I have already filed my 2006 tax return and it has been accepted by the irs and is expected to be here by the 30th. Problem is at the time, I was fine with that. Now something major has come up and I HAVE to have the money by the 26th. A lot of places do refund loans but that is while they are filing your taxes. Since I personally have already filed, does anybody know anywhere that will give me a loan with my irs status and papers without filing my taxes for me?

Once the return has been accepted by the IRS, there is no way to stop the process.

Relax (I think). Did you file electronically and request direct deposit? Did you file no later than last Thursday morning? If so, the refunds are made available by the Treasury to the banks at midnight on Thursday. Many banks will, consequently, make those funds available by 6am on Friday morning, the 26th. The IRS just adds on a few days because some small banks do not release the funds quite so quickly. If you bank with one of the big banks or a large regional you should be OK. If you're still worried, ask your bank when they typically receive tax deposits.

You may get your refund money earlier, cross your fingers and pray.

Barring that there are a million Payday Loan places, take your paperwork in there and see if they would be willing to give you a loan. But BEWARE, they charge incredibly high percentages to loan you this money. I would wait and see if by some miracle the IRS money shows up early.

Go to the bank or credit union and get a personal loan and pay it off when you get your refund. Or call the business you owe the money to and tell them you will pay them when you get your refund. They may charge you a late fee but at least you don't have to worry.
