Actually there is a growning body of evidence for reincarnation. Such books as "Many Lives, Many Masters" and "Twenty Cases Suggestive of Reincarnation" are two of the many that can give a bit of insight on this phenomenon.

I like to believe that my loved ones continue to live on somewhere. Its too hard to think that there is just nothing after death. it helps people to accept the loss of people they love it has helped me to greive at times. And even if people do not live on physically, thier spirit lives on for generations in our memories and hearts. I have never experienced any proof of afterlife but it is a good mechanism to cope with certain things

Well there is not evidence of it, and I have heard some EVP tapes so, iwould say that human souls really stay here, in this world, wondering around, looking at chicks when they're in the bathroom until they are reborn

No. There is not!!! What would be the purpose??? Would we all sit by the river and play harps for millenia??? Think not. That is why our life here should be lived to the fullest so we can leave it with no regrets.

truly, sincerely and honestly - nobody knows, and all claims to the contrary are false. but scientifically this hypothesis is rejected, as there is no scientific data supporting it.
