I am a single father of one, most of my time is spent caring for or getting ready to care for my son. I don't get out to date, and haven't for awhile, but I still feel great...
I feel lonely every now and again, but not alone...
Sometimes I feel I should be going nuts, but none-the-less, I couldn't be happier... To whom or what do I owe my success?

It sounds to me like you are a very self actualized person. You feel complete and whole, despite society's idea that in order to be happy you need the adoration and approval of another. You are a rare man. You doubtless owe that good feeling to yourself, your child, your parents, and if you are spiritual, a higher Power. You should be congratulated. Many men could take a lesson from you. Many women may find you attractive because you've not been riddled with desperation to "find that someone special". People are programmed to feel unworthy if they are single. That sentiment ought to have gone the way of the corset, the stocks as punishment, so-called " wich burning", leeches for any and all ailments, and the words "old maid" and "spinster" They have no place in the 21st Century.

I know a single mother looking for a guy just like you...Well done for keeping so happy - personally I find that really difficult and have a terrible attitude most times. Your positivity will rub off on your son.

You are doing exactly what you should be doing. You don't see any single mothers winning medals for all their sacrifices. All I can offer you is a pat on the back for being the father you should be.
