knowing that only a few percent make it into Heaven I want to ask you a question. Do you sleep around and vornicate,(however you spell it) do you commit adoltiry, do you look at the opposite sex with lust, do you steal, do you go to bars and drink, do you go clubbing and dancing at clubs, are you turning you back on Jesus and say this Christians life is too hard, do you backstab people and not repent, do you get angry at people and not repent, do you take drugs or look at porno? Christians what sins are you commiting. And do not say you do not sin, because you are not perfect. Jesus was the only one that was. Just because you belive in Jesus does not mean you do not sin. What sins do you find hard to give up? Honest answers here please. I have given up most of mine of drinking, pubs ,clubs etc, as I were not a Christian at the time.I still swear and when I do I ask for forgivness, and when I talk behind my sister's back as her and I do not get along, I ask God for forgivess.

And when I get angry at somebody I always end up taking it to God in Jesus name. There the only things that I battle with, but I am going to have to work of forgiveness too. I take things to God. I have to turn from them. God said without holiness nobody will see the Lord. I do believe only a few percent of people make it to Heaven, and I am glad I am still alive so I can fix my sins before I go home either in the rapture alive or when I die and my soul goes home.

Hello Leanne,
I am so sorry that our e-mail conversation ended up with no result and just getting angry. So I apologize for anything that I have done to offend you and what you believe. I am not sorry for what I believe in, but am sorry that our beliefs are so different. I will just leave it at that.

I have been happily married for 25 years and no I have never slept around on my husband. I do not fornicate, nor have I committed Adultery. I do look at the opposite sex, but not with lust. I do think that men are gorgeous, but my man pleases me well.

I have went to clubs about a total of maybe five times. I did not enjoy it at all and knew that was not the life style for me.
I stole a pair of ear rings when I was nine years old and have never stolen anything again.

I tried marijuana when I was 15 and I HATED it. I smoke cigarettes, which is a nasty habit that I am trying to overcome. Other than that no drugs. I do not look at porno but I have seen magazines of it. It is not allowed in my house.

I have talked about people behind their backs, but I have found out that it does no one any good. Just more hurt feelings.

I guess my hardest thing to quit doing is smoking. It is so hard. But I know with God's help I can do it. I ask for forgiveness every single day, because each and every day we sin by thought alone, and we are far from perfect. I am a sinner.

Guess that's it. Again I am sorry.

Romans 3:23 (King James Version)
2For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

The Bible tells us that we all have sinned, and this is talking about christian people, so then we know that we are going to sin, but I think the difference is when we conciensly make plans to go places and do things that are sinful.. that is what the Bible is talking about.. there may be times when we lose our temper, or get caught up in gossiping, or maybe ever say swear words, but I don't belive that we can commit adultry, go to bars and drink and still call ourselves a christian, Ask yourself this question , would Jesus go to these places,? no he would not..!!
so when we deliberaty go to these places and get into situations that will put us in league with the devil, then we are not following Jesus..

i am 65 yrs old, and I became a christian in october 1973, I quit smoking with God's help, and I have never commited adultry in my marriage of 44 yrs, and I am not saying that I do not sin, because the Bible makes me a lair to do so, I know I sin daily, but I donot do it with the intent in my heart to sin.. i am human and I do and will sin.. The Lord has a purpose for our lives, we are to grow in grow in grace and knowledge, and our life here on earth gives us the time to "dress up" and get ready to be with Jesus.. if we do not work on our lives daily and try with God's help to make each day a little btter then we might be one of those that don't make it to heaven.

Any Christian who apologizes to God for sins and truly repents can enjoy holiness in Christ, through participation in the church, which will always be holy, by divine decree.

Catholics have many advantages in this respect, primarily because they enjoy the authentic Eucharist, not just a symbol, and they have the benefit of true sacraments, which are powerful and give grace, according to God's express design.

Anyone who attempts to get to heaven without making use of all that God provided for us through his church, is taking a big chance with their eternal salvation.

I wouldn't speculate too much about how few or how many might get to heaven, as God may have other things in mind, which he hasn't yet revealed.

And don't forget ... both sorrow for sin AND true repentance (change of heart PLUS change of behavior) is necessary for the forgiveness of sins.

Without both, all we can do is rely on the mercy of God, and hope that his mercy exceeds his justice

Dancing is a sin? I guess I didn't get the memo. But that's not important right now.

Judging from your rant I'm guessing that you're a newly "saved" Christian soldier eager to go forth and conquer the world for Jesus. That's nice. I've been there and done that too. Many of us go through a zealot period or even several of them. Odds are very high you'll get over it when the novelty wears off. Enjoy it while it lasts.

Lust and anger are my to most problem areas, and of course pride for without that lust and anger would not be a problem. I am praying for strength to overcome these pitfalls and continued forgiveness for my shortcomings.
You are correct my brother, but the message you send is that of John the Baptist not of Yeshua.
Yeshua proclaims that the battle against evil is won. The war on terror has been over for two thousand years. It was won at Golgotha. All you need do is believe and you are saved. Yes brother believing and saying you believe are two totally different things. And yes the time is near that the lambs will be separated from the goats. The number of Jews will be 144000, but the number of those with gowns washed white with the blood of the Lamb will be countless. Only those who's names were written in the Book of Life before the beginning of time will be saved, and we as men will not know who is or who is not. All churches are wrong for it is written that He will take His Church from out the churches. Two will be working in the field one will be taken the other not. The damned exist to teach the saved.

Most Christians do not care about their sin because the claim to just be a saved sinner. That is correct Jesus said that few would enter heaven. Makes the claim of Christianity being the most popular religion false doesn't it.?

Your question is certainly demanding and there is nothing wrong with that, accept it come from God, I don't mention that to be rude to you in any way, but the bible says only one is righteous and that is God, it also says, All men have come short of the glory of God Why? because all men have sinned.
Thank God for the blood of Jesus that has cleansed us of that sin. to those who believe, of course.
We all face the struggles of living like a christian or like a godly person and i know its not as easy as some may think,
As long as we live in the body that we all have we will always be prone to do fleshly things because of it. And As long as you and i live in this world we are going to be prone to the things in it. All the things that cause us to sin knowing we shouldn't, start from what we see with our eyes, think in our minds and keep within our hearts, professing with our mouths.
Anyone of these is where we all tend to slip. Can we do any better?
I am reminded of what Jesus said " he who is without sin, let him cast the first stone"
And because of his love, A lamb spotless and without blemish was led to the slaughter, Why? to die for our sins....A man that was without sin. I am so thankful that Jesus has left the comforter to enable and empower us to live a life unto god, by his word, because i cannot see how you and i and everyone else is going to do that, without it. Do you?

Your question is very long. No, I am a born again Christian and do not do these things anymore, although I do stumble at times and so do you. We are all sinners. Since I have been born again, I have no desire to be in places like that. Yes, I use to be a party animal in my younger years, but now all that is in the past forgiven by God through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.

We all fall short of the glory of God dear. That doesn't mean we shouldn't strive for it. Remember this; saying your a Christian and honestly attempting to live in as Christ like a manner as possible are two different things. Often we find that the things of the flesh simply do not appeal any more. They become empty of attraction. They become childish and we put them away.

Jesus was free of sin but it doesn't automatically make us "sin-immune" he just sets an example to follow...i get angry and i have a very short temper but i learn to beg for forgiveness from the people that i hurt. i try to honor my parents even though sometimes we fight like there's no tomorrow.
sometimes i take a sick leave off work when there's nothing wrong with me at all.
i don't go a lot to church and at one point i wished my grandmother who made our lives a living hell dead....and i dunno if that makes me eligible to go to heaven or not, but i do think of what i do and i try to ask for forgiveness even though it means walking all over my pride, and that is so tough for me,but i do it because my religion asks me to do so...being Christians doesn't make us perfect, but it gives peace of mind, if i learned one thing form Jesus it is that being a God he still gave up his own life for us so we shouldn't have any problem in living in love and constant forgiveness "father forgive them for they do not know what they do" ...he taught us about forgiveness because he knew we'd be needing it a lot.
