My boyfriend and I go to different schools and when he goes out with his friends late at night or when he spends more time with them than me I get jealous. I don't really understand why I feel this way because I go out with my friends also. Is it normal for me to feel this way? How can I stop being so insecure?

Girls are just insecure beings. Just think that you are too good for him and even if he were to leave, you can find someone else. Keep telling yourself that. Good luck

it is normal to feel jealous or insecure especially with people you love. I guess you should now insist that you want to tag along may be once in a while and see how he fairs on with his boys. I think people get really insecure when they are not really sure of what goes on or of the unknown. When you go out with them you will familiarize with their activities and leave them alone.

Don't mistake insecurity for that " little voice" you should be listening to. Anytime he spends more time with his friends than you when you are available, your "little voice" should speak REALLY loud! He is not ready for a true relationship with you because you do not fulfill all his needs for companionship. Be a little bit more independent and try to wean your feelings off of him. He is young and not ready for a heavy relationship. Wake up. Just enjoy the dating experience with him. Guard your feelings but do not expect so much. Good Luck

It's normal to an extent. The best thing to do is to tell yourself that the reality of what he's doing and the fantasy of what you think he's doing are two totally different things. Unless he gives you a reason to question his trust, assume that he's just blowing off steam with his friends like you do.

If you keep expecting the worst, more than likely it will end up happening. Do your best to be positive about things and remember that he's with you for a reason and that he obviously loves you.

Well i have the same problem, What i do is just ignore my jealousy, i completely just put it out of my mind, and carry on with what i was doing etc. Sometimes i can't then i just sit by myself and think it through and eventually it goes away. (",)
