what you describe is very common to many breeds of puppies. It doesn't mean that she is going to be mean when grown..but you need to teach her the limits..and that NO biting is appropriate..She is just playing with you as she did with her littermates.
You always try the most positive method first:
Some ideas for discouraging finger chewing: when your puppy clamps down, let out a very loud YELP in imitation of a hurt puppy. Then, fold your arms and ignore him for 10 minutes. With very young puppies, this sometimes works wonders - it's the same thing that happens when they get too rough with another puppy. The wounded puppy yelps and runs off, refusing to play for a bit. The yelp must be startling enough to stop the behavior.
That should do the trick, unless she is prey driven, however, if it doesn't fix the problem this will work:
To introduce an element of "natural discipline", grasp the recalcitrant pup by the scruff of the neck with one hand, place your other hand over the top of his muzzle, gently pressing his muzzle towards his chest as you say, in a low, growly tone of voice, "No BITE". If they begin to throw a tantrum and thrash around trying to bite, just hold the line until they "give in" and "say uncle" (quit resisting). You should not find it necessary to get aggressive with a young puppy. Simple restraint is usually enough to get the message across.

If you are afraid that she might turn on you, then why did you get a pitbull?
Anyway, you must correct those behaviors. Nip them in the bud so they don't esculate. Use positive training on her. If you don't know what positive training is, you can get a book and/or DVD on positive dog training at Amazon.com.
What your puppy is displaying is normal in all puppies. You have to let her know that her biting will not be tolerated. Everytime she bites you, hold her mouth shut and tell her "no bite". Remember you have to let her know that you are alpha not her!! Very important.
You also, need to socialize her with other people, children and other dogs when she gets to be 3 months of age. Do not socialize her with other dogs before 3 months of age, because she is more susceptible to catching other dieseases from other dogs if they have something.

You have to teach her not to bite even if its play bitting because when she gets older she won't know her own strength lol.I had a pitt about 2 years ago that we rescued from a shelter she was great! she loved attention and she would and my 4 year old would lay on a blanket in the floor and take naps.Unfortunately one day my 8 year old brought a friend over and the friend pushed her way in front of my daughter and "sierra" took it as a threat and lunged for the little girl. She didn't bite her but what got me as I was pulling her back she was still trying to go for the girl.Lots of people give Pitts a bad name. But if they would research the animal first and take them to puppy training classes maybe they wouldn't have such a bad rap. I hope you don't give up on your puppy sounds like you really love her.The vet can also recommend someone for you.An can also give you simple tips .

You need to teach her to never put her teeth on you! She needs to be taught that now. I have a 9 year old amstaff and he was taught from a pup he does NOT mouth humans...at all....ever. When she nips you when playing yelp real loud like a hurt dog. immediately stop playing and ignore her for about 5 minutes. She will get the idea not to bite. These dogs have to be obedience trained very well. If you do not know how to train a very stubborn dog, enroll in obedience classes. They will teach you how to train your dog. Treated right and trained well you should not have a problem.

Do you get her excited by trying to wrestle or play "hand games" with her? That could be why she is biting. When she bites tell her "Ouch!" as if it really hurt, then tuck your hands into your armpits and walk away from her.
Pits are very physical when they play. If you need extra help, you can get bitter apple or plain Listerine and put it on your hands. This can discourage mouthing from puppies.
Take your pitbull to Puppy Kindergarten. Most of them start puppies by 8-10 weeks old, providing they've had their first or second round of puppy shots. A well run Puppy Kindergarten can help you learn ways to discourage her, as well as ways of getting her to obey you.

There are a few real keys to dog training, whether you are trying to train your dog to come when called, sit, stop barking or any other behavior. Understanding their importance is critical to achieving rapid results that are long lasting and help develop the bond between you and your dog. Learn more http://OnlineDogTraining.enle.info/?2982
The first is simple; you must win your dogs mind. If you don’t achieve this first then you will be struggling the all the way. When I talk about winning your dogs mind what I really mean is that your dog looks to you for all the decisions. Before you do anything else watch one of the amazing video sites that show you the 5 Golden rules to establishing yourself as the pack leader. If you aren’t putting these in place then you are setting yourself up to fail. Just at the crucial point where you really want your dog to listen they will go and do their own thing. For sure your dog may play ball occasionally or even most of the time, you may even have a dog that is obedient 99% of the time, however if you want a dog who always listens to you and does as you ask then you need to win your dogs mind.
The second key to success is to motivate your dog. It is really important that you discover what it is that your dog enjoys both in terms of exercise and play but also in terms of a reward. If you can make the experience enjoyable then you will both achieve more and look forward to training.
Some dogs love to fetch, others love agility, and other dogs simply love obedience training, or swimming out into water and retrieve. At least to start with find out what your dogs love is and help them develop this, what I am saying is work with your dog. The other point to recognize is to make training enjoyable reward your dog.

Your good judgment some woman listening to a male human is misguided. A canine can study to obey a toddler! you could take the canine to obedience instructions. You and the canine will study lots. interior the class you will study the thank you to get your canine to stroll on a loose leash, and likewise coach the canine to forget approximately approximately different animals on your walk. you do no longer could be stable or attempt to over potential the canine, it relatively is all a remember of appropriate technique.

You need to speak with a certified dog behaviorist asap. That way problems can be fixed before they start. You need to stop allowing her to bite you at all (even if she is playing).

She may have suffered abuse before you got her. Stop spoiling her. If you continue to spoil her she may not get over her bad habits. Most pit bulls are sweet unless they've been mistreated. They got a bad reputation due to people using them to fight. I'd consult an animal behaviorist before anything else though.
