I hate it! I'm a kind person, smart, funny and cute. But, I find that everytime I've ever been turned down it was b/c of my height! I'm 5'3 and small. I don't understand why my height affects my love life so much? Can someone explain why men want only tall women?

Yeah thats the thing,I'm into guys that are like 5'10 or taller. The talest guy I've ever dated was 6'4 and he didn't have a problem with it, but when I date guys shorter than 5'10 they tell me they like their girls like 5'6/5'7. I just can't win!

And also I always that in order for me to get there attention I needed "long sexy legs". I mean my legs are sexy, but short.

Not all men want tall women. I myself am 6'8" and I am usually attracted to women that are 5'6" or shorter. My ex-fiance was 5'2".

Well, this statement is not true. I'm 5'11 and my girlfriend is 5'4 or 5'5 or so, and I love her being that short. It's cute =] - I think most guys typically prefer tall women because they have longer legs, guys love legs, etc. But anyway, you'll find a guy that likes a short girl. Trust me, it's cute to be short =D - if a guy is worried about your height, then he's obviously not into you for the right reasons. So don't worry about what the guys say when they say something stupid about your height. Physical appearance is the last thing everybody should worry about. Unfortunately, that will never happen, because society is filled with parasites that feed on peoples' inabilities to realise that beauty means nothing. You seem like you have a great personality, so just let it show and it is guaranteed to attract the right guy sooner or later. Hope this helps. Ciao!

I don't understand your problem. I mean, you have many good qualities (according to you).
That's a very broad generalization. Not all men want tall women. I'm 5'11", and I would date a four-foot woman just as easily as I would a seven-foot woman (although dancing would be difficult).
So maybe it has more to do with the type of guys you ask out. Nobody worth your time will turn you down just because you're 5'3". In fact, height has very little to do with compatibility at all. In fact, with any guy worth your time, it has NOTHING to do with compatibility.
But don't let your height change who you are. If you really are kind, smart, funny, and cute, then stay that way. Any guy worth your time will see that in you and not think twice about how tall you are.
Just be you, and the man for you will come along and sweep you off your feet, and he won't give two hoots about your height.

Not all men date tall women, take me for example, I'm much more shorter than you are at 5'0 and I have been dating a real tall guy at 6'4 for over 7 years. See. It depends on the men you come to know. My boyfriends has admitted that he does love long legs on a woman but says he loves mine too.

you cant be serious??? most of the guys i know love the shorties!! I'm only 5'3'' too hun and i love it. I don't know how old you are but I use to have a problem with my height in Middle School till 9th grade. High school came around and the guys loved it. Every guy has different opinions tho so maybe the man your thinking of likes taller women???

Don't feel bad.I am only 5'1 and my husband is 5'11. He said he loves a petite women. Don't called yourself small, but called yourself petite and uniqe. Good thing comes from a small packages. Dress yourself up with heel sometimes,we do look sexy in heel though. I think it is not true that men are only find tall women attractive. They like all different size and ,shape, different men have different taste in women. So cheer on, don't let your height effected you that much. With that personalities and your look(cute) as you decribed about yourself, some one will come along dear. Be patient.

Actually, most guys like dating shorter women. And women 99% of the time like to date taller men.

Yeah, that's all in your head. Sorry. I'm 5'4 and I get plenty of dates. I don't think my inch advantage has a thing to do with that. If the guys you go after only want tall women, it's time to look elsewhere for men.

First of all most tall women are turned off by shorter man.why is it that taller women get mad when guys are turned off by them? Sorry but maybe taller women shouldn't de so picky.

Tall women have the same complaint. They say men only want to date short women.
I'm rather partial to petite women myself and I'm 6'-3".
