You can straighten your hair permanently for a temporary period of time, lol. Just as you can get a perm (curly hair) which lasts for at least 3 months, you can also get your hair straightened. It's easier than using a flat iron to straighten it every day. It's not permanent in such a way that you will have to eventually have the straightening process done again if you want to keep it straight.

I believe if you go to the hairdressers they have a chemical straightening formula that will allow your hair to remain straight even after washes up to 6 months. However, i wouldnt reccomend it. Even though they say 6 months.. it really depends on how fast your hair grows back. As soon as those roots come in you'll see those curls at the roots.

Try hair rebonding. It's a little expensive and have to do it again when you feel that your hair is curling up again, but I think you can find a salon that may fix your budget. Or you can try hair relaxing, although this will straighten your hair for at leat six months.

Asian hair straighteners work surprisingly well (you should ask a hairdresser). It will stay straight, but eventually your roots will be curly as they grow in (but the straightened part will NEVER curl again, unless you use rollers or a curling wand.

you could use the without-lye relaxers except you have to straighten the new growth regularly say one month interval.
