Right before I get killed in a dream I wake up. I heard if you die in a dream you die in real life. I don't know how true that is or if I really believe it or not.

I used to have this recurring nightmare where I was on the front porch of some old house I had never seen before, my family or someone I loved was inside and in danger, I was frozen in place, all I could do was open my mouth to scream but nothing came out, then Freddy Cruger from Nightmare on Elm Street came out of the house and walked around me in circles. I always woke up right as I thought he was going to kill me. Now that I think of it though, I don't think I ever actually died.

Ive had nightmares of bieng killed,but I always woke up before I died.after watching the movie Black hawk down, I dreamed that I was getting shot by faceless mauraders reapeatedly, while hiding under a bridge,they all had handguns and, in my dream,I thought I was really getting hit with bullets,but they wanted to torment me,and not finish me off.and I woke up before I bled to death,another dream, I was the target of a rocket attack by soviet migs,bieng holed up in a cave( the cave is in the side of a cliff not too far from were I live) .but then agian,i woke up before the rockets hit,the most recent was I was about to be electrocuted,for some reason or another,and when the warden asked if I had a last request,I told him I wanted to go home and put on my suit so I could die decently,he said ok and let me out of the prison,and there was my fathers car sitting right there,out side the gates, so i just drove away...my point is, I always had nightmares of bieng killed,but I always woke up before I died.

I have them all the time,the shrinks say I have PTSD from combat I don't know but I dreamed once I lost control of my car chasing a vampire.Went off the cliff crashed and died.Went to my funeral looked in the casket seen myself and BAM woke up in cold sweat,sheets soaked it was like I just stepped out of the shower.I have never dreamed that again,thank God!

I was chased around for what felt like ages by the freakiest clown ever and he beat me up with a block of cheese only to fall off a ledge into the chocolate river from willy wonka

Over the past few months often enough for me to seek therapy for it. For one thing you don't die. In my case I was always killed violenty by woman in more ways than I can believe, To night was my first normal dream since christmas. I had been thinking out a new lady in town. To my surprise she aske me out, with my teenage daughter there, the night mares stopped (I just hope I remember how to date)

ive had a nightmare of being eaten alive by ants spiders and scorpians, now everytime isee a picture or see one in real life i ask myself are you dreaming... then eventually in my nightmare i started to ask myself am i dreaming... it eventually worked and they all faded away, try it

yes car accident , people kept telling me it was immposible to die in a dream , well apparently not
