My girlfriend says she wants a boyfriend who isnt "soft", like her previous one. what do you girls consider "soft"...i understand im not going to cry to her about my problems, n just discuss them in an adult manner with her, but wat else will be too unmanly?

Be yourself, if she doesn't like it, if she is looking for some macho blah blah guy, don't be her boyfriend. She's got her things, you've got yours, don't try and change. If you really want to change, though, do it for yourself, not for her. Considering you don't really know her to well from what I read.

Sorry, I'm so tempted to make the joke take a regular dose of viagra and you'll never be soft, but I won't.
I like sensitive guys personally, my boyfriend has cried in front of me, and I'm glad that he feels he can do that without being ridiculed or feeling uncomfortable and "unmanly". Just be yourself (sorry, cliche! Cliche!) and if that's too "soft" for her then she isn't the one for you (cliche again).

Yeah, crying about your problems to her is probably not considered "manly". All chicks want a guy who is self-confident, most want one approaching arrogance. YOu won't be able to fake it, so if you're a sensitive guy, you might have to go through a lot of girlfriends before you know when to stop yourself.

Baby talk from a guy is the worst! Also, don't just roll over during a fight. If you think she's being a total bit*h about something, it's ok to call her on it sometimes and I do mean sometimes.

She needs to grow up. She wants a man who is spontaneous who is a take charge, unpredictable, reserved sort. She needs to find a more insensitive guy who can be these things without showing his feelings for her one way or another. Don't worry, when she finds him and if she falls for him......she will be sorry!

Who knows, the next one will probably want someone who is soft...Just be yourself, if she doesn't like it big deal...YOu have to be yourself at all cost, to be happy...Now if you were of bad character you could try to change, but you get my meaning...

Ask her what she means by "soft".... to some women, it could mean a man who doesn't stand up for himself, etc... but to others it could mean an overweight man.
