So I was listening to the news and Starbucks is no longer using milk with cow hormones. But i was listening to Dr Dean Adell and he said that it dosen't make a difference. Cow hormorones don't show up in milk and even if you drink it it will digest in your stomach. Does anyone know were I can get the facts that cow hormones don't show up in milk and that they are not harmful to you?

They lead you on cause people will spend more money for the same thing labled differently. Its all about the money - I pay $1 for my espresso at the local joint, $2.25 at Starbuck (and they don't even carry blackberry syrup). I guess I don't look like I am 'on the bus' without my green and white cup.

As to BGH - there are two sides to that coin, and alot of info that suggests it's not the stuff your grandma would put in her cookies. Dr. Dean Adell could be on the lactose payroll. Theres lots of people on the take.

One link below is to some BGH info - I don't know how accurate it is, but it is an example. The other link is totally unrelated to the question, but it demonstrates one example of a professional accepting money without public disclosure, and basing treatment recommendations on it.
