Well, the hips must part, as to allow a person to pass through them. Your waist got thinner because your hips needed to borrow some of it. It will give it back. And it should be easier the next time around as the 'growing' paines set up the course for the next 'travellers'.

Because you're getting older and had a baby. Woman naturally store fat on their hips and butt. Men on their stomach.

You're eating more food than you should or the wrong food. If you haven't change your diet since before when you were younger ... your metabolism slowed down (burning calories at a slower rate).

You've got 3 options It's simple:

1) accept that you're destined to live out your remaining days as a frumpy, thick set, matronly woman. You once were a babe, but that was then. Your run is over.

2) burn more calories (exercise)

3) ingest less calories (eat less)

You had a baby. Your body changes for that event, both for carrying the child and the delivery. You now have what is known as "child bearing hips" and I can't think of any way to shrink them. Sorry!

because in females the pubis bone is designed to separate or spread apart as the babies head travels down the birth canal. it's natural and normal.
