Yes, I really like 'shiny pickles' for its inviting luster!
'desolation' is the kind of a theme that has always attracted me as an outdoor watercolorist: the abandoned run down building-
It is very effective in black and white! The coldness and starkness are very much enhanced when you use b/w film.
I especially like the blue/ black photo...'cool' for its depth and mysterious qualities.
